CAN I CLAIM FOR NEGLIGENCE?

Answer: If the solicitor has failed in his duty of care to you, then you may well have, in addition, a claim for professional negligence. The advantage here is that you have up to six years to claim against the solicitor. There may be some element of over-charging too but these various claims can often be combined within one Claim.
